Tension is rising in Plateau State over what the people described as government insensitivity to the instability caused by last weekend mass murder of innocent citizens of the state.
Protesters bearing different plackads protested peacefully to government house but became angered by the unavailability of any government offical to address them. The prayers later forced their way into the premises after confrontation with security operatives in the premises.
Meanwhile, reactions have also emanated from respected personalities across the country urging the federal government to do more than talking and if need be carry out degint change in the security apparatus of the federal government.
The Speaker of the federal house of assembly as well as the Senate President have met with the President to discuss on the incessant killings throughout the country. The Nobel laurel Professor Wole Soyinka has also said in strong terms that the Federal governmental must do something serious on national security.
