A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Olukayode Akindele has said that with the Supreme Court verdict which cleared Saraki of any corruption charge puts him in good stead to join in the Rae for presidency.
The reason alluded by the chieftain is that the Senate President has the experience, political pedigree and temperament to hold the position. He said this when he spoke to spoke with LEADERSHIP sunday.,

Chief Akindele h as s however called on the Senate President to return to the people's Democratic Party (PDP). He stated that the PDP is the only place/platform where where they can achieve their goals.
