Kenyan Police have arrested a 23-year-old man for allegedly killing his step-brother’s girlfriend. The suspect identified as Joseph Ayomo stabbed 21-year-old Beverline, a Kenyatta University student, to death on Wednesday at 3am in Migosi Estate.
The victim who was a Third Year Hospitality and Tourism student, was stabbed in the stomach and head. Joseph also allegedly stabbed his 32-year-old step-brother, Evans Otieno, in the back and chest. While Otieno was rushed to the Hospital for treatment his girlfriend was not lucky as she died from her injuries and body has been moved to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital mortuary.
Health officers at the facility described Evans' condition at the hospital as stable.
Meanwhile, the police has not been able to unravel the reasons why the suspect committed the crime. .
