The social media and indeed the news media has been agog with the events unfolding in Ekiti as election to elect the next governor of the state draw closer.
Governor Fayose has alleged that the police slapped him and shot at him on Wednesday during a rally. The governor who was seen literally weeping asked Nigerians to hold the police and the inspector general of police responsible if any I'll befalls him
While some condemned the Federal government for deploying so many policemen to Ekiti because of election yet did not treat plateau state security the same way, others have insinuated that the governor was making a big deal out of the incident.
