Nigerian man turns down a 200k Job, because he loves his job of 50k

A Twitter user @Kyaqy took to the platform, to disclose how a Nigerian man turned down a 200k job because he loves his current job that pays him 50K.

According to the Twitter user, the Nigerian man who turned down the 200k job claimed that the job he is currently on is all he dreamt and his gathering experience. She wrote;

I was in school today, a friend of mine told me how he turned down a 200K paying job. I asked him why. Because that was 4X his current salary. He said he loves his job; it was his dream job and he’s currently getting all the experience he needs. I was speechless

I asked myself which option I could go for if I was in his shoes and I couldn’t answer the question  Turn down a 200K paying job in this stage of my life???  Kator may not be capable of doing that

So… Question for the night 200K paying job that isn’t your dream job but you have friendly co-workers Or A job that pays way lesser but at least it’s your dream job and you’re getting the experience needed?

This is coming few days after a Nigerian man, disclosed that he turned down a job that offered him a huge financial opportunity because of his son. A man simply identified as Obinna raised a conversation on Twitter, after he revealed that he couldn’t miss the first year of his son’s life.

In his Twitter post, the devoted father expressed that he was offered a job that was going to pay twice his current salary but he had to turn it down because the place of work was in Lagos state. He wrote;

“Earlier this year I got a great job offer. Pay was twice my current salary, but the job was in Lagos. I had to pass. Wouldn’t miss watching the first year of my son’s life for all the money in the world. Now he eats 1kg cerelac in 6 days. I’m wishing I took that job.”
